I want to provide my own suggestions and help for CVS users at this site as well as provide access to CVS documentation on the internet.

I copied the format and some source for this page from Adrian Nagle's VIM page because he did a good job and I don't do much HTML.

Huh? What's CVS?

Concurrent Versions System (CVS) is a source code repository designed to facilitate multiple developers working simultaneously without worrying about each other. CVS facilitates change logging, commenting, and organizing of source files in a multiple-directory structure. CVS also supports multiple projects and revisions within a product even making it possible to patch and re-release an old version without affecting newer code.
